Since 2002, every year SwissTB delivers the SwissTB Award for the amount of CHF 10'000. The Award honors outstanding works in the field of tuberculosis research. The work has to be done predominantly in Switzerland. The announcement of the laureates usually takes place on the World Tuberculosis Day towards the end of march each year.
